Streamy awards
Over the last year or so I have become a big fan of watching “television” on my computer. In particular, I have become hooked on the many web series that have appeared almost out of nowhere.
There are so many cool things online these days; it is hard to keep track of them all. I don’t even try, but I am always excited whenever I find a new web series that I like.
Some of the web series that I have really enjoyed this year are Dr Horrible’s sing-along blog, Anyone but me, and Joni and Susanna. I am sure I would also love new series like Gemini Division, but because of all the stupid GEO blocking, I cannot watch them.

Now that web series and other forms of online content have become much more popular, there’s now also an award show involved: the Streamy awards. Nominees include a lot of stuff I have never heard about, but are dying to discover.Joss Whedon’s Dr Horrible Sing-along blog is nominated in about 10 different categories, including best comedy web series, best directing and best editing.
The Battlestar Galactica webisodes are also up for a few awards. Haven’t watched any of those, because I am so behind on my BSG watching. But I’m sure it’s good.So what web series are you watching? Let me know as I would love some cool suggestions.

I am sure there's an easy way around it, but I'm not that much of a tech geek.
Haven't heard of the Guild, but will check it out.
