How I hate stupid people
I am pretty sure* I have blogged about my dislike for stupid people before. At this point it is not even a dislike anymore, but it has grown into a full-blown hate.
I should know by now that the world is filled with stupid people, but every time I am surprised once again. Not just about the number of stupid people, but also about the extend of their dumbness.
Before you start to take offense, when I speak of stupid people I don’t talk about the uneducated. If there is one thing I have learned is that the stupidest people can often be found at universities.
I am talking about all people who do or say or even think dumb and retarded things. And yes, sometimes this is related to them having an IQ of around 85. I am just not a big fan of simple folk, especially when they say stuff that pisses me off.
You want examples? I don’t even know where to start. How about the woman on the train who was trying to convince her friend that intelligence is bad for you because it only leads to headaches.
Apparently, she has a son who is very smart and therefore he always has headaches from too much thinking. I would think the poor boy has all these headaches from living with a mother who thinks too much thinking is bad for you.
Public transport is where you find the dumbest people. Like the girl waiting at the bus stop who seriously wondered out loud why we used such a thing as time and who had come up with it.
When her friend told her it wasn’t just made up, but it has to do with day and night rhythms and the position of the sun and the moon she didn’t want to believe her. In fact, she went on and on how it was stupid to have 24 hour days and we should just make it a different number, like 25 or 40.
People that really annoy me though is those that just have stupid opinions. Yes, there is such a thing as a stupid opinion. Examples are things like; women should stay home to take care of their husband and kids, all foreigners should be kicked out of the country, gays shouldn’t be allowed to … [fill in the blank].
I could go on and on, but don’t worry, I won’t. Mondays are annoying enough without having to listen to me bitch and complain. But if you want to join in, do let me know why you dislike stupid people.

I agree Jennifer, it's much easier to just do what everyone else is doing/thinking etc. It's just so boring.
